This class will offer an introduction to digital products and how to use those products in a meaningful way. Students will choose various projects that will require them to use creativity, problem solving skills, and critical thinking. They will be able to design their own course of study by choosing which projects to pursue and how to complete them. These projects include, but are not limited to: stop action animation, coding, creating games and instructional material for learners of all ages, and creating websites. We will be using Google products as a platform for many of these projects since we are G-Suite for Education school. Students will also be engaged in keyboarding activities everyday so that they may become proficient in creating these digital materials. In this class, students have a voice and choice and they will learn “how to” learn. The instructor is a Level 1 Google certified educator.
