Eaglet Club is optional extended care for enrolled students. Eaglet Club is available to preschool students after their school day until 2:45 p.m. This position is responsible for supervising children during Eaglet Club.

  • Athletics Director

    The Woodlands Methodist School – Lower & Middle School is currently seeking candidates for an Athletic Director for the 2018-2019 school year. The Athletic Director is responsible for developing, directing and coordinating all school-wide athletic activities. This will include coordination of all athletic events as well as managing the athletic department budgets for TWMS. This includes overseeing the Physical Education program, Health and lessons related to the TEKS, and serving as a resource to students and faculty. This is a full-time position.

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or Education Administration or Sports Management
    • Must hold an appropriate teaching certification
    • At least three years teaching or coaching experience (middle school experience is a plus)
    • Demonstrated ability to successfully work with adolescent students and the public in a school setting

    JOB DUTIES:

    • Responsible for all phases of the athletic program, including physical education for TWMS
    • Promote the school through our athletic teams and competitions and ensure that our teams display sportsmanship and Christian ethical behavior
    • Recruiting and supervising of P.E. teachers and coaches at TWMS
    • Organizing teams and schedules for each team
    • Securing the appropriate officials and any workers necessary for all home games
    • Notifying the administration of a team schedules and any change in schedules or games
    • Communication of the schedule to all participants and their parents throughout each season
    • Ensuring all coaches for school teams follow TAPPS guidelines and rules
