Boots and Bling 2018
November 14, 2018
The Woodlands Methodist School Parent Enrichment Organization (PEO) hosted their annual fundraiser, Boots and Bling. This year’s event was held at The Woodlands Country Club Palmer Course in the Legacy Ballroom on Friday, November 2, 2018. Nearly 300 guests gathered in their western attire and bling to raise funds for The Woodlands Methodist School. Fundraising chairs, Sarah Przybyla, Ali May and Stacei Bible along with the committee spent countless hours to ensure a memorable evening for all. Tables were adorned with natural wood and white hydrangeas with lanterns on the fireplace that illuminated the room.
Dr. Ann K. Snyder, Head of School welcomed guests to the annual fundraiser. Kerri Bigler, parent, led the prayer and guests enjoyed a delicious sit down dinner. The evening included a silent and live auction, wine pull, jewelry pull, mystery box and even a golden ticket opportunity. Some of the most coveted live auction items were a vacation home in San Miguel, Mexico, a luxury ocean view villa in Costa Rica, a Louis Vuitton signature handbag, First in Car Line and even Principal for the Day. A favorite on the silent auction were unique canvas paintings from each class.
Funds raised help further The Woodlands Methodist School’s mission to provide a joyful, Christian education through which children develop a lifelong love of learning, pursue excellence and positively impact the world. With the generous support, The Woodlands Methodist School will be able to purchase vans for their traveling athletics, playground improvements and much more. We are grateful for our generous sponsors AGAPE Physicians/CHI St. Luke’s Health (The Bigler Family) and Wright Business Technologies (The Wright Family) along with many other sponsors and underwriters that helped make the evening a success.
The event concluded to guests two-stepping the night away under the stars to the live band, Willow Creek Junction.
