Community Service

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. – 1 Peter 4:10

TWMS students and families participate in community service projects each year such as serving families through the Montgomery County Food Bank, collecting food for the Interfaith of The Woodlands Pantry, a library book drive for an impoverished library in Louisiana and class projects to raise money for ZOE Ministry. Our Student Council is heavily involved in planning and implementing ways for all students to be involved in helping those in need.

At our Preschool we believe preschoolers can begin to learn about serving others. Our families collect food for the Interfaith Food Pantry during the Thanksgiving season, and at Christmas we collect baby items for local ministries as Gifts for Baby Jesus. Individual classrooms may also have opportunities for hands-on, age-appropriate community service projects.
