With a heart for servant leadership and a deep commitment to each
child’s growth and potential, I warmly invite you to explore our
website and become acquainted with The Woodlands Methodist School.
Here, we joyfully guide and nurture children from prekindergarten
through eighth grade, placing students at the center of all we do
as we partner with their families to support their growth in
faith, character and learning.
Rooted in our mission to reach students for Christ and disciple
them as they walk with Him, our school is a place where faith and
learning come together to shape confident, compassionate and
Christ-centered leaders. Children at The Woodlands Methodist
School develop a lifelong love of learning, pursue excellence, and
positively impact the world.
As you learn more about our school community, you will discover an
environment where students are challenged to think independently,
explore new ideas, and take risks with courage and enthusiasm. We
strive to inspire each child to serve others with passion and
commitment and to lead with integrity, grounded in a steadfast
faith. As Isaiah 40:31 reminds us, “Those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be
faint.” This promise reflects our vision for every student to grow
in faith, persevere with strength, and pursue excellence in all
they do.
Our caring and remarkable faculty and staff bring this vision to
life every day, modeling Christ-centered leadership and an
unwavering commitment to every student’s growth. In partnership
with our church staff, we gather weekly for Chapel and continue to
serve as an outreach ministry of The Woodlands Methodist Church,
nurturing our students’ spiritual development alongside their
academic journey.
As Head of School, I am truly honored to serve this remarkable
community. It is a privilege to work alongside passionate
educators who faithfully live out our mission each day. Throughout
our campus, you will see their expertise and dedication reflected
in our programs and enrichment opportunities across
prekindergarten through eighth grade.
We believe that a child’s education is a shared journey, and we
warmly welcome your partnership and involvement as your child
grows spiritually, academically and personally.
I invite you to visit The Woodlands Methodist School and
experience firsthand what makes our community so special. We are
grateful for the opportunity to welcome you and your family to our
campus. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions,
thoughts or feedback at any time. May the Lord’s grace and peace
be with you and your family throughout the year.
With gratitude and blessings,
DR. CHRIS POVICH
