Our faculty embraces technology in the classroom to support curriculum on many levels. Interactive display panels are used to enhance teachers’ instruction and accommodate students’ different learning styles. Chromebooks are utilized in grades 2-8, while each PreK and 1st grade classroom is equipped with a set of iPads. All of this supports increased comprehension, active engagement, and individualized and collaborative learning.
Online programs such as Keyboarding Without Tears, Typing Agent, and CyberCivics are used to teach keyboarding skills, as well as digital citizenship lessons, in order to encourage responsible online computer use.
